According to Mexican sports site Mediotiempo, Chivas have agreed to send Marco Fabian to La Liga’s Espanyol in December in exchange for a 5 million Euro payout.
The Rebaño Sagrado midfielder is currently part of the Mexico Copa America roster that is participating in Chile.
The deal would make him the second Mexican international in Espanyol’s squad, following in the footsteps of defender Hector Moreno.
Fabian was previously a player of interest for Bundesliga side Stuttgart, but negotiations fell apart when both parties failed to come to an agreement.
He most recently played part in Chivas’ successful Liga MX 2015 Clausura campaign, where the Guadalajara club was eliminated in the semifinals by the eventual champions.
