Queretaro reached the Liguilla thanks to a last-gasp Ronaldinho penalty at the Estadio Corregidora on Friday night.

The former Barcelona player proved his worth by sneaking in a last-minute penalty goal against Chiapas to help Queretaro earn all three points in an emphatic 1-0 win.

The hosts went into the final game of the season with destiny out of their own hands and depending on other results to reach the Liguilla.

Now, Queretaro are in a top-eight position and will play the first-leg of their quarterfinal at the Estadio Corregidora.

Chiapas, on the other hand, finished the season with 20 points. and with the result, will end their campaign at bottom half of the table.
