Luis Michel put a man-of-the-match performance as Chivas and Santos Laguna battled out to a 0-0 draw at the Estadio TSM on Thursday.

The hosts had plenty of possession but could not find a way past as solid goalkeeping display from the Chivas goalkeeper.

Chivas manager, Jose Manuel de la Torre, opted to sit back, happy to break up Santos possession and counter.

Santos still have destiny in their own hands but will have to earn a victory in their visit to the Estadio Omnilife on Sunday to progress.

On the other hand, Chivas can wrap up a place in the Liga MX final with another goalless draw or a win of any kind.
