Javier “Chicharito” Hernandez followed up his goal-winning performance in the Champions League quarterfinals by scoring twice in Real Madrid’s 4-2 victory over Celta de Vigo on Sunday.

The Mexico international is on a season-long loan from Manchester United and has started in the absence of the injured Karim Benzema – scoring four goals in his last four games.

Celte de Vigo jumped to an early lead, but Toni Kroos quickly equalized for Los Blancos seven minutes later.

Chicharito then fired Real Madrid into the lead  in the 24th minute after he finished across the goalkeeper from a nice James Rodriguez pass.

With the score at 3-2 in favor of Real Madrid in the second-half, Chicharito sealed the win when he gathered a Sergio Ramos pass at the edge of the box and finished past the goalkeeper for a second time.

With the victory, Real Madrid remain in second and two points away from first-place Barcelona.
