Tigres earned their second consecutive home win of the season with a 1-0 win over last-place Morelia. Ricardo Ferretti’s side secured the victory with a second half goal from Jesus Dueñas.

Morelia struggled to break down the hosts and went down to 10 men when Enrique Esqueda received a red for a violent aggression.

The defeat sinks Morelia further to the foot of the table with three points in six games.

On the other hand, the victory lifts Tigres to the top-half of the table.
