US Soccer has confirmed that Mexico and the United States are set to reopen their rivalry in a friendly, in April 15, in San Antonio, Texas. The game will take place in the Alamodome.
This will be the teams’ first match-up since April of last year when both teams drew 2-2.
Mexico is no stranger to playing in San Antonio. El Tri previously played in a friendly against South Korea in January of 2014. The game was early in Miguel Herrera’s reign, and Mexico won that game 4-0.
Prior to playing the United States, it is rumored Mexico will play friendlies against Ecuador and Paraguay in March.
