Diego Reyes was sent off in FC Porto’s 1-1 draw to Sporting Braga in the Taça da Liga. The Mexican defender received a red in the 34th minute for two yellow cards. Hector Herrera came into the game in the 63rd minute, and Porto held on, despite having two less players on the field for the majority of the match.

Meanwhile, in the Copa del Rey, Giovani Dos Santos played 72 minutes in Villarreal’s 1-0 victory over Getafe. The Mexican came close to scoring on several occasions and even had a goal disallowed for an offside. Bruno scored the winner on that one with a well taken free-kick in the 85th minute.

Raul Jimenez played 5 minutes in Atletico Madrid’s 1-0 defeat to Barcelona. Simeone’s men looked to have successfully defended the draw, but in the 85th minute, Messi scored the winner off his own penalty miss to hand the Catalans a one-goal advantage towards the second-leg.

Lastly, Guillermo Ochoa played all 90 minutes and earned a clean sheet in Malaga’s scoreless draw against Athletic Bilbao.
