Hector Moreno played 90 minutes in Espanyol’s 2-0 victory over Valencia. Valencia went down to 10 men early when World Cup winner, Shkrodan Mustafi, was shown the exit door in the 10th minute. Felipe Caicedo stole the headlines, however, and his brace put the Barcelona-side through to the next round of the Copa del Rey.

Diego Reyes, meanwhile, started for FC Porto in their Taça da Liga tie versus União da Madeira. Reyes completed all 90 minutes, and the Dragões won 3-1 with goals from Juan Fernando Quintero, Ricardo Quaresma, and Evandro.

Lastly, Guillermo Ochoa started for Malaga in the Copa del Rey’s last game of the night. The Mexican received three goals, but Malaga held on to earn a place in the quarter-finals with a 4-3 aggregate victory over Levante.
