Juanpi and Ricardo Horta scored to give Malaga a 2-0 victory against Levante in the first leg of the Round of 16 in the Copa del Rey. Guillermo Ochoa was given the start and played a full 90 minutes.

It was only “Memo” Ochoa’s third start for Malaga, and the Mexican made the best out of his chance with his first clean-sheet and a couple of really good saves.

With little playing time at the Spanish club, there have been no shortage of rumors of Ochoa’s departure from the team. It is expected, however, the he starts in the return leg next week.

Malaga is set to play hosts to Villarreal this weekend in the 18th week of play in La Liga.
