Santos Laguna continue to be the most active team in the transfer market as they completed the purchase of goalkeeper Agustin Marchesin and midfielder Diego Gonzalez from Argentine club Lanus.

Today, the Buenos Aires club confirmed the departure of the two players to Santos Laguna via Twitter. This comes days after Santos confirmed the signing of Carlos Emilio Orrantia from Toluca and Edson Rivera from Atlas.

The signing of Argentine goalkeeper, Marchesin, comes to no surprise as Santos Laguna had released their captain and goalkeeper, Oswaldo Sanchez, just a few days before today’s announcement.

On the other hand, Diego Gonzalez is said to be a player capable of playing on the right-side of the midfield.

Santos Laguna and Lanus are no strangers to making business together, Carlos Izquierdoz arrived from the club last year and has had a decent spell with the Mexican club.
