The transfer market is alive and well in Mexico, Cruz Azul and Morelia have just confirmed their purchase of two South American players for the 2015 Clausura campaign.
Agustin Manzo, sporting director of Cruz Azul, confirmed that Brazilian forward Alemão would be the team’s first purchase of the season. The striker comes from Brazilian club Ponte Preta and last played in Portuguesa.
Likewise, Yorleys Mena became a new Monarcas Morelia player. The 23-year-old Colombian forward arrives from Idependiente Medellin. ‘Yoyo’, as he is nicknamed, scored a total of 41 goals in 111 appearances in the Colombian league.
