Real Madrid won their fourth title of the year by defeating San Lorenzo 2-0 in the Club World Cup Final. The European champions defeated the Argentine side with goals from Sergio Ramos and Gareth Bale.

The win caps off an amazing year for Real Madrid in which they had already won the Champions League, Copa del Rey, and UEFA Super Cup.

Sergio Ramos opened the scoring in the 37th minute with a header of a corner.

Early into the second half, Bale received the ball inside the box to double the lead.

At the end of the game, Carlo Ancelotti’s men made it 22 straight victories in all competitions as they lifted the Club World Cup trophy.

Javier “Chicharito” Hernandez saw both of Real Madrid’s games from the bench.

Earlier in the day, Cruz Azul was defeated in penalties by Auckland City in the third place match. Auckland City Mexican forward, Fabrizio Tavano, played a full 90 minutes of that game.
