The Brazilian striker, Camilo Sanvezzo, could be out for 5 months after picking up a torn ACL in a Queretaro friendly today. Further tests will be done to the striker, but it is expected that he is facing a long spell away from the soccer fields and will miss the Clausura 2015.
Sanvezzo was sensational for Queretaro last season, becoming the top-scorer in the league with 12 goals in 17 games.
Queretaro is expected to receive a boost next week when Ronaldinho joins preseason training. They were also active in the transfer marketing, acquiring striker Emanuel Villa on loan from Tigres, before Sanvezzo’s injury.
