Raul Jimenez plays 33 minutes in Atletico win over Ochoa’s Malaga

Atletico Madrid obtained a 3-1 win over Malaga in the 12th round of La Liga. Raul Jimenez had been struggling to earn minutes with the “Colchoneros” side, but today saw him receive 33 minuets of playing time.

It was one of his better games as an Atletico Madrid player. He looked active on the field and tested the Malaga keeper twice with a shot and a header.

Just yesterday, manager Simeone had expressed his support for Raul Jimenez, and Raul didn’t look short in confidence. Most encouraging of all was that Raul Jimenez looked more vocal than he has in the past.

On the other hand, Guillermo Ochoa played no part in the game a midst rumors of a likely exist come the January transfer window.
