Carlos Darwin Quintero has announced his exit from Santos Laguna after six years with the club, winning one championship with the team in 2012.
After some speculation, the Colombian striker took to Twitter to bid farewell to the club and show his gratitude to the fans.
Quintero reached three finals with Santos and scored a total of 95 goals for the club. He had previously signed a contract extension, earlier in the season, that kept him at the club until 2018.
Although his next club is unknown, it is rumored that Club America might be his most likely destination.
